It's not possible.

Windows are currently not supported as server because of a dependance that not working anymore on windows. To remove this dependance, we need to rewrite major part of the code and it will take time.

As Windows have never be a good choice for OCS in production and as we allways recommanded : Use linux as server.

You must debug your mysql. At first, begin to look all running process in mysql with :

show full processlist;

If it come from a big table, think to enlarge memory usage for mysql and create index.

Et quel est le problème ?

Ces messages sont standard et s'affiche sur toutes les nouvelles installation pour indiquer ce qu'il faut faire ou modifier en fonction de ses besoins.

Hello,

I have the same issue as you.
However, I just noticed that on the 130 computers that have the OCS agent and the Winupdate script, 26 works well and give the information I want.
I still haven't found the common points betwteen those computers and I can't manage to make it work on the 104 others.

I'll keep working on it and I'll let you now !

Thank you for you answer !

Plenty of update on the softwares table. By a SELECT*FROM INFORMATION_SCHEMA.PROCESSLIST ORDER BY TIME show that average time is 1 sec on query.

The thing is the main Mysql process stay stuck over 200%. If I change IP address, no OCS agent are able to connect on the server and all work nice, I'm able to use the web interface without lantencies and to query the database from access/excel ODBC. It look like agents are the root cause of this and not only too many sql queries or process.. 

Anybody already experience this ?

Unable to activate packages

Hello,

I upgraded the server to version 2.3.1.
When I create the packages, they are registered in / download, but they do not appear to be activated in ocsreports.

Utilisation de SNMP avec OCS

Bonjour à tous,

J'ai réalisé l'installation suivante sur des machines virtuelles Hyper V :

- Windows Server 2012R2 --> OCS + Base de données

OCS server version 2.1.2 - OCS agent version 2.1.1.1

- Windows Server 2012R2 --> GLPI 9.1.3

- Centos7 --> SNMP

Tout fonctionne correctement au niveau d'OCS et de GLPI.

Le problème est que mon entreprise souhaite placer la base de données dans une DMZ privée, ce qui fait au vu de mon installation qu'OCS se trouverait lui aussi en DMZ privée.

J'ai cru comprendre que pour utiliser SNMP - IPDISCOVER il faut que le serveur OCS puisse communiquer avec l'agent SNMP (ici mon serveur centos7).

Ma question est donc la suivante :Peut-on utiliser la fonction SNMP - IPDISCOVER sur le serveur OCS, avec comme serveur SNMP ma machine Centos7 ?

Sachant que le serveur OCS est en DMZ privée, et qu'il ne pourra donc pas communiquer avec le serveur SNMP.

Bonjour,

Je rencontre également des problèmes d'import locaux.

En regardant le code source de la page, il apparait que le chemin d'accès au fichiers js pose problème.

Ci-joint ma capture d'écran. Quelqu'un a une idée ?

Not what I am looking to do.  Agents would only report to (1) ocsinventory server.  What I am trying to accomplish is  to host multiple ocsinventory servers on a single apache instance without running multiple instances of the ocsreports admin console and seperate ServerNames (site1.test.com, site2.test.com, etc).  Instead I would like to use different virtual locations of /ocsinventory to point to their own mysql database.  Something like the following:

ocs agent A -> test.com/ocsinventory -> mysql db A

ocs agent B -> test.com/ocsinventoryb -> mysql db B

Not asking on the Agent end, but for the server.  I have been able to get multi site configurations working on a single server with apache configs tied to seperate ServerNames, but would like to streamline further and only use virtual locations.  From testing it appears like mod_perl may be the issue and only able to get tied to a single virtual location.

It seems that OCS Inventory still inventory some programs that have been uninstalled.
One guy of the call center gave me a example.
Have you hear some known issues talking about that ?
I am quite novice on OCS.
How can I check that ? May be some parameters are not correctly entered ? On the agent side ? on the server side ?
I will appreciate your help to investigate what can be done to close this issue.

bonjour a tous,

j ai teste ocs sous debian et centos7 et toujours le meme probleme d import local.

Ereur HTTP/1.1 400 Bad Request

J ai vu sur le forum que beaucoup rencontraient ce probleme mais pas de solution.

Donc si quelqu un pouvait se penche sur le probleme car je ne vois pas comment faire.

La seul fois ou ca fonction c est sous windows avec une version 1.0.3.

Manage Duplicates - Gestion des doublons

Bonjour à tous,

Je retrouve régulièrement des ordinateurs portables en doublons dans la console ocs sous "manage>duplicates>Hostname+Serialnumber"

"config>server>auto_duplicate_lvl" est paramétré avec des coches actives sur les champs:
"hostname" + "serial number"

Ocs devrait fusionner deux ordinateurs s'il trouve les mêmes infos dans les champs correspondants non?
or la j'ai la même info "serial" et "computer" dans deux ordinateurs présent. Je fais des merge en manuel tous les deux jours c'est assez laborieux.

Que puis-je faire? merci pour votre aide

Hi,

like in subject - can I add page with report in console? I need report with computers which do not have specific antivirus software (so I need run query in sql - NOT IN or NOT EXISTS). Second report - computers without antivirus software.
Is this allowed and how do that?
