Bonsoir,

Merci d'avoir pris de votre temps pour m'apporter une réponse claire, je me disais bien qu'il y avait du microsoft dans l'air ^^

Par contre, je ne suis pas sur d'avoir compris comment chercher les pc ayant microsoft office 2010, peut être sélectionner tous les pc et faire une recherche de ceux équipé d'office, ou bien c'est une autre méthode ?

Bonjour, Nous sommes entrain de tester OCSInventory pour voir si ce dernier répond à notre besoin.

Cependant nous avons installé sur une Redhat 7:

 php -v
PHP 5.6.25 (cli) (built: Sep  6 2016 08:19:42)

mais quand nous éxécutons :

Il semble que (mais je n'en suis pas certain) que la section du fichier php.conf  :

Ne fonctionne pas bien.

could you please advise what are the system requirements for OCS Inventory server installation under linux- based OS?

Just wondering what is the recommended OS on which 2.4.1 was tested, version of PHP, and Perl libraries

Debug Retrieve Microsoft Office keys.

Good morning,

I've made a lot of attempts, but the office license information is not loaded.

I installed the "Retrieve Microsoft Office keys" plugin successfully.
I inserted the msofficekey.vbs file in the "C:\Program Files (x86)\OCS Inventory Agent\Plugins" folder.
I ran the file locally and it returned me the right license information.
I ran the agent and generated the local xml file, in the xml file there are the right license information.
I uploaded the xml file manually on the server and I had no error.
No errors in the log files apache2, mysql and ocsinvnetory server and client there are no errors.
The debugging of the logs are set in detail.


After all these attempts, I still do not have the license information loaded into the database

Do you have any ideas how you can solve the problem?

OS Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS

Ocs Server version 2.4.1

PHP Version 7.0.30

Apache/2.4.18

Mysql 5.7.22

I installed OCS Server 2.4 a few months ago. I also installed the "running process" plugin without any problem. The servers were added correctly and the processes were detected under the "miscellaneous" menu. Nearly 2850 servers have been added. 

From 3 days, if I try to launch an OCSINVENTORY AGENT I have the following error: [error] Can not establish communication: 500 Internal Server Error 

The error message starts from the OCS SERVER. 

This is the agent modules.conf:

/etc/ocsinventory/modules.conf 

# this list of modules will be load by the at run time 

# to check its syntax do:

# You must have NO error. Else the content will be ignored 

# This mechanism is to launch agent extension modules

I can download a list of installed software, however I see that it gives me a count of computers only. Is there a way that I can download a report which includes the computer ID of installed software?

Doublons sur OCS Inventory

Bonjour,

Je refais appel à votre aide pour un problème de doublons sur OCS Inventory. Malgré avoir changé de version de l'agent (passage de la v2.3.1.1 à la v2.3.0.0), je continue d'avoir des doublons uniquement sur les PC portables. Un PC portable change souvent de carte-réseau car un collaborateur se connecte en câblé via une station d'accueil lorsqu'il est au bureau et en wifi lorsqu'il est en déplacement. D'ailleurs je remarque dans les doublons que l'adresse IP est tout le temps différente.

Le problème persiste sous plusieurs configurations d'AUTO_DUPLICATE_LVL :

Hostname only

Serial Only

Macadress Only

Hostname + Serial

Serial + Macaddress

Macaddress + Hostname

J'utilise la version OCSNG_UNIX_SERVER_2.4.1 - sur Debian 9.4 x64, et pour l'agent la version 2.3.0.0. Mes machines clientes sont en windows 10 Pro.

I am trying to install Plugin without success. I downloaded plugins to folder /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/download

From GUI, I go to Plugins Manager , choose the plugin and click on Install. But I am getting error

To troubleshoot I checked the folders mentioned in the above link and in my case all those folders are completely empty. 

If I go to GUI Plugins Manager and click on Install again, then it says that "This plugin has been already installed". But the OCS server is not showing any plugin information. I am not sure where I made mistake. 

Can you please help?

This should do the trick for SELINUX...

chown -R apache:apache /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/

chown -R apache:apache /var/lib/ocsinventory-reports/

find /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/ -type f -exec chmod 0644 {} \;

find /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/ -type d -exec chmod 0755 {} \;

chcon -t httpd_sys_rw_content_t /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports

chcon -t httpd_sys_rw_content_t /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/upload

Track computer connection Plugin?

hy, some years ago some people are asking for a way to track connection (remote IP, external IP)

somebody mentioned that you have to lock into apache logs, but this is not necessary - the data is already in the database and somebody developed a plugin years ago (2012)

Can anybody adopt the plugin for the new version ? This would be great

The only solution I known is a SQL query :

Upgrade serveur 2.4 vers 2.5 (partie serveur)

Bonjour,

Je compte upgrader mon serveur actuelement en 2.4 vers une 2.5, mais je souhaite le faire en m'assurant de pouvoir restaurer la 2.4.

J'imagine que la documentation http://wiki.ocsinventory-ng.org/02.Basic-documentation/Updating-the-server/  est ce qu'il me faut., n'es-ce pas :-) ?

Je vais bien sûr faire l'étape de sauvegarde des fichiers avant l'upgrade commme cela si pb, hop je reviens à la 2.4. Mais la procèdure citée plus haut,  parle de sauvegarder les fichiers de conf, pas l'ancien ocs en 2.4. Je vais donc faire une copie des dossiers de la 2.4 vers un dossier de backup, afin de pouvoir faire un retour arriere intégral.

PS : mon serveur tourne sur une machine virtuelle hébergée sur un ESX.
 Je vais donc faire un snapshot avant l'upgrade. Mais alors me direz vous,
pourquoi me/vous faire suer avec ma question ? Réponse : Parce que j'aime

vmware vcenter plugin - cannot oconect to srv

hello everybody
Im trying to run vmvare plugin to inventory vcenter server v 6,5 on OCS 2.5, agent 2.4, centos 7.5

plugin instalation working fine, I can see the menu in GUI but

1. how to run plugin manualy ? is it posible
2. where plugin works, on server or on agent
3. how to diagnoze plugin problems, log file ? where ? mayby some other methood
4. vmware.pm file - shuld I copy it to agent plugin directory

5. in agent / server logfile I can't see any informaton about this plugin, no errors, infos nothing :/

6. where to enable high level od loging in OCS

help my pleas   :)
