Can't find information file at..activation error

Hello guys,

first of all thanks for this geat tool and your daily work and development on this.

OS: Debian 9.6 (stretch)
OCS-InventoryNG: OCSNG_UNIX_SERVER_2.5
Agents OS: mostly Windows 7 & 10
Agent execution logs:

Apache server logs:
no errors

I have a problem regarding the package activation that tells me a "Warning: Can't find information file at https://xxxxx/download/xxxxx"

If I manually enter the path I see the directory content (http as also on https)

It's kind a weird that upon building a package the directory permissions always get set back to 755 www-data:www-data...
As described in the following post I added these options to the ocsinventory-report.conf  http://ask.ocsinventory-ng.org/5827/deployment-activate
Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews
AllowOverride None

Also I can't access the package statistics site with a notice, that there's no access to this data

Hopefully you can help on this issue I'm really clueless :-(

Hello,
a connection of the agent is acknowledged with "Segmentation fault (11)" in Apache Eror logfile.

how to debug?

multicriteria search no checkbox search possible ?

hy, with multcriteria search i want to search for a administrative data checkbox - but i can only search for

equal, more than, lesse than, like, different, is null - but i don't know which value i should enter into the search field afterwards.

In old versions (2.1.2( i have the function "having"and then i can choose the checkbox field.

Any help ?

Hi,

sorry to say I have no solution, but I have the same problem. Have been searching for my configuration error with no luck, so now I am quite happy to have at least found a soul mate :).

I am playing on a new system with OCS 2.6-RC (Apache/2.4.25 (Debian) mod_perl/2.0.10 Perl/v5.24.1) on Debian. So far I thought about vhost problems, but Apache logs show exactly the same behaviour as your system

Similar problem here with “OCS 2.6 RC” on “Debian 9.6” after an update from libmariadbclient18_10.1.26-0+deb9u1 to libmariadbclient18_10.1.37-0+deb9u1

apache error log:
[Wed Jan 09 11:03:00.792545 2019] [core:notice] [pid 5971] AH00052: child pid 15999 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Temporarily fixed using:
apt-get install libmariadbclient18=10.1.26-0+deb9u1
apt-mark hold libmariadbclient18

Any updates in this?

J'avais suivi ce tuto en novembre l'install du serveur était OK mais mes configs clients de remontaient pas.

Je vais repartir de zéro en reprenant point par point.

This depends on the fact that the install script (install_plugin.py) looks for "map.pm", but all plugins contain "Map.pm" under the APACHE directory.

Since it's case sensitive, the installation fails.

In my case I tried to install officepack: As a workaround I substituted all occurences of map.pm inside the python script (install_plugin.py) with Map.pm and renamed the following:

- Extension directory from officepack to Officepack

- officepack.conf to Officepack.conf inside [extension]/APACHE.

This way the installation concludes succesfully.

Can't install kind of packages

Hello,

my problem is that aber deploying the notepad++-package it isn't possible to install it on a Computer.

What I've done?

I've downloaded the newest .notepad++-exe from their Homepage. After this I packed the installer in a zip-file. At the web Access of ocs I deployed a new package (Priority=0, npp,zip, npp.7.6.Installer.exe /S). Then I activated the package. I've chosen the new package to install on my Computer.

At least I clicked Right at the Agent > start ocs inventory ng agent on my Computer. The Status changed from "waiting for Response" to "Notified". Then….Nothing. I can't install it. Before I started the Installation of 7-zip successfully.

Do you have any suggestions why it is so complicated to install?

Same procedure as every year: it isn't possible to install packages. I've delete the content of Windows/Temp and ProgramData\OCS Inventory NG\Agent\Download. I've check the parameters for silent install over and over again.

Here are just 2 of the packages I want to install:

IrfanView:

On "Command" I wrote iview452_x64_setup.exe /silent /folder="C:\Program Files\irfanview" /desktop=1 /allusers=1 /assoc=2

It definitely works by trying on my local machine. I also tried to escape the \ and the " because the server runs on debian. Nothing works.

Notepad++:

On "Command" I wrote npp.7.6.Installer.exe /s. I also changed it to /S.

When I changed something at the server I've made a systemctl restart apache2.

My OCSInventory.log shows this:

But there's no installation. The only thing that works is the inventory.

As I did not find out why this was happening, I reinstalled everything using version 2.5 and had no more problems.

Thanks for the personal help, but I believe that being a Release Candidate version, 2.6 might have problems.

Nous utilisons OCS dans mon entreprise. Depuis quelques jours, les informations ne remontent plus du tout sur notre interface OCS.

Voici ce que j'ai si je consulte le fichier logs :

Nous avons migré le serveur 2.4 vers 2.5 mais le problème est toujours

  • Version de PHP : 5.6.33
  • Serveur Web : Apache/2.4.25 (Debian)
  • Serveur SQL :Debian 9.1 version 10.1.26-MariaDB-0+deb9u1
  • Version OCSReports:2.5

Je n'ai pas retrouvé d'erreur similaire sur ce forum
