I want to update ocs server from 2.0 to 2.6.

but can't start after update. Some errors occours in mysql database.

Blank page when install plugin (2.6rc version)
When i press install botton (of listprinters in extension menu) the page turn blank and the only method to restart OCS is delete the new record in extension table of OCS db (created during the installation of the plugin).
My version of OCS is 2.6rc
I've downloaded the plugin by github

Answered: Plugins Installed but don't work! Why not?
Hi,
you are using 2.6 Release Candidate server (so far only for testing purposes - not in production mode), you have to take the "rework" branch of the plugins ... Is this the case ?
All dependencies of the v. 2.6 (prerequisites) are they properly installed?

since the 2.6 xx version of the OCS server, the plugin copy folder is no longer "download" but
/usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/extensions/

Gestion des machines virtuelles
Bonjour à tous,
Depuis quelques releases d'OCS les machines virtuelles (VMWare) remontent dans la console avec le numéro de série de l'hyperviseur qui l'heberge.
De fait, chaque machine (presque une centaine) remonte dans la console comme doublon.
De plus, lorsque les machines viennent à changer d'ESX cela ajoute encore un doublon.
Existe-t-il un moyen de gérer les machines virtuelles de façon plus efficace ?

Celle-ci me convient , mais nous voudrions utiliser des plugins.
Office et Bitlocker.
J'ai téléchargé les fichiers ZIP et je les ais collé dans /usr/shar/ocsinvantory-reports/download/
Mais lorsque je vais sur l'interface web, je ne vois pas les plugins pour les installer.

hy Aldiya, i understand you frustration, but opcs-inventory is a community driven open source project where it can happen that schedule cannot always be met.
You can go into debug mode in ocs to find out the necessaray sql command to delete a computer older than xx days.
Than you can add a trigger or a stored procedure to mysql to delete the computer obects.
if you find the solution you can post it here.
Please be patient and please post a bug report in github. I think this forum is not as much noticed as github by the developers.

i can't recommend to use ocs-inventory with a direct outside connection, because there where several security vulnerables found in the past.
OCS-Inventory can be a popular target for outside hackers, because if the hacker hits the ocs-inventory server, he has controll of all your computers.
You can work with a vpn connection to access the ocs-inventopry server from outside, and all clients from outside also have to do this.
perhaps you can to something with a apache directive - but this is outside my competence

Default Search Criteria Parameters missing
Hello,
We are not seeing all the default search parameters in "Search with various Criteria". Deployment package was the one we really needed.
PHP Version: 7.3.1
Web Server: Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) OpenSSL/1.0.2k-fips PHP/7.3.1
Database Server: mod_perl/2.0.10 Perl/v5.16.3
Version OCSReports: MariaDB Server version 5.5.60-MariaDB

Any ideas on how to enable would be greatly appreciated.

into the plugin folder of the ocs-client
C:\Program Files (x86)\OCS Inventory Agent\Plugins
PS: the main download site to download plugins is
https://plugins.ocsinventory-ng.org/
and it is sometimes not to bad if you use the full link to link to a specific site, so everybody can see were your link is going to.
This avoids anxious user from "not clicking" on a link, because they might be thinking there is a virus behind the link.

Les clients ubuntu 18.04 n'apparaissent pas
Bonjour, Je viens de réinstaller un serveur avec ocs-server v2.5, mais j'ai un comportement assez bizarre
Toutes mes machines clientes (j'ai un parc de linux) s'enregistrent correctement auprès du serveur avec l'ocsinventory-agent.
Par contre, toutes mes machines avec ubuntu 18.04 comme OS n'apparaissent pas quand j'affiche "toutes les machines", je n'ai que 18 résultat.
Par contre si je fait une recherche multicritère (par exemple Machine: Nom différent de XXX) j'ai 40 résultats et je trouve bien toutes mes machines dont les Ubuntu 18.04, et je peut accèder au détails de leur hardware.
Une idée de ce qui pourrait causer ce problème ?
