Source your envars by

source /etc/apache2/envars

and

/usr/sbin/apache2 -V

If nothing works properly than try to change the document root from /var/www/html to /var/www

/etc/apache2/sites-available/000-default.conf

How to display multiple monitors for the same PC in query

How do I make a query in the management console display more than one monitor per PC or server? Most of my users have two monitors; I can see both when I click on the individual machine and look at the report, but a query only returns one monitor. Thanks

Hi,

By upgrading to the new version, dbconfig.inc.php and z-ocsinventory-server.conf files are overwritten with files of the OCSNG_UNIX_SERVER-2.2RC1.tar.gz archive. Replace user/password values fin these files, then restart apache. All will be OK after.

How can I add 'View Columns' and make them stay as default?

I am running OCS Inventory 2.0.5 on Red Hat 5. The problem that I would like to resole is to have added columns stay permanently.

For example, whenever I do a "Software with various criteria" and lets say I choose parameter "Software Name" and do a search that is [LIKE] Firefox. When I hit the search key I get a list of all my machines that have Firefox installed, but in order to see what Version of the Software is installed, I have to add the column "Softwares: Version". While this may sound like a miniscule problem, I seem to find myself longing for default added columns in many areas of OCS and having to constantly re-add the columns in order to see what I want to see.

Is there a solution for this? Perhaps a code change in the OCS files or maybe there is an option I am missing on the Web Interface.

I'm testing OCS Inventory Server 2.2 RC1 and want to implement some custom plugins I used in 2.0.5.  I don't see the cd_config.txt in which I can activate the plugins.  How do I activate the plugin?

After enabling the plugins, how do I make the plugin data visible in the web interface?

Number per License + MSOfficeKey

Dear,
Installed MSOfficeKey and keys appear successfully to access any host.
In Pluguins menu shows the flaps Licenses Office, Allotment, per License Number not monstram results.
I did several searches in furum and the web but could not solve this case.

Any tips?

Try to do a snmpwalk on your equipment with the community you have in the OCS server from the client. It's seem that the client can't do a snmp query.

I started using OCS 2.05 virtual image provided by the oficial site. Then, upgraded manualy to version 2.1. There are any module needed to enable that feature?

Apache can't work after OCSInventory NG installed

I have installed the OCSInventory NG installed in CentOS , but it is failure when i restart apache.

System Infor:

CentOS7+apache2.4.6+PHP 5.4.16+MariaDB 5.5.41+OCSInventoryNG2.1.2

Other Package:

mod_perl-2.0.8-10.20140624svn1602105.el7.x86_64

perl-XML-Simple-2.20-5.el7.noarch

perl-IO-Compress-2.061-2.el7.noarch

perl-DBI-1.627-4.el7.x86_64

perl-DBD-MySQL-4.023-5.el7.x86_64

perl-Apache-DBI-1.12-1.el7.noarch

perl-Net-IP-1.26-4.el7.noarch

perl-SOAP-Lite-1.10-1.el7.noarch

php-common-5.4.16-36.el7_1.x86_64

php-gd-5.4.16-36.el7_1.x86_64

 

And I have installed the OCSInventory NG installed in CentOS following the article :http://wiki.ocsinventory-ng.org/index.php/Documentation:Server

 

But after installed, apache can't be restarted.

Apache2::SOAP is up to date (0.73).

 

I have installed and updated the Apache2::SOAP, but apache can't be restarted.

And it prompted :

As saadmin access denied on config->user setting // after upgrading to 2.2RC1

Hey guys,

since having upgraded to the latest release candidate 2.2RC1 some menues are restricted issuing and "Access denied" message although I got the highest permission set sadmin.

So I checked database and noticed that there seems to be a new column NEW_ACCESSLVL and an "old" one ACCESSLVL filled with different values.

mysql> select * from operators;

| ACCESSLVL |       | NEW_ACCESSLVL |
       NULL                          sadmin

Tried to update the ACCESSLVL but only accepts integers ?

Please give me a hint?

Parse error on ms_multi_search.php

Hey guys,

since having installed Microsoft Office Key plugin , when I try to view details of installed software , I get this error:" Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in C:\xampp\htdocs\ocsreports\plugins\main_sections\ms_multi_search\ms_multi_search.php on line 1321"

The error is in the end of the file and this is the content of my ms_multi_search.php file:

I think your config file is corrupt (config/profiles/sadmin.xml)

I have checked the Path "/etc/ocsinventory-server/", there are two directories in it.

But nothing in the directories, please see the checking at below:

Attention: I have comment the  lines in z-ocsinventory-server.conf, because if i don't do it , the error of apache prompt " localhost.localdomain httpd[18634]: Unknown Authz provider: SOAP_USER".
