I tries this but still the message is on the page Non-identified peripherals list.

chown -R www-data:www-data /var/lib/ocsinventory-reports
chown -R www-data:www-data /var/lib/ocsinventory-reports/ipd

Service apache2 restart

This is the message:

You need to set writing rights on the root directory in order to use ipdiscover-util.pl (/ipd)

No "delay" button for agent with OCS 2.3 Server

Hello,

We upgrade ocs server (linux) to 2.3 and agent to 2.3 Windows.

Since, when i configure a deployment package with "Delay" option for user, the button no more appear when notification pop on screen.

Any solution?

Bonjour,
 

J'ai effectué l'installation d'oscinventory NG server 2.3 sur une machine Linux (debian) sans problème et une fois que j'essaye d'accéder à "http://ip_du_server/ocsreports" via le navigateur web, il me retourne comme réponse : "The requested URL /ocsreports/ was not found on this server." J'ai cherché un peu partout une solution à ce problème rien n'y fait :/
Aurait-il un moyen de m'éclairer svp.

option: configuration-->agent, doesn't give me the possibility to add.

Upload Agent - White page, PHP Fatal Error Cannot redeclare return_bytes()

The upload-page is showing a white, blank site. How can i upload the agent into ocs?

Bonjour,

Après installation  du serveur OCSInventory en version 2.3 sur une machine Linux Ubuntu 16.04LTS, je n'arrive pas à installer le Plugin Officepack : The communication server encountered the following error on install : 
Click here to solve your problem

Je précise que la remontée des postes se fait sans soucis aussi bien linux que Windows, seul les clés Office sont absente: No data available in table

Une idée?

Hey fgenao,

This is a forms bug in the page I think. I was able to solve by selecting Custom on all paths and piping it to the exact path listed for the default option just above. Once I did this it fixed all read/write permissions. I suspect there may be something like an extra '/' or the like in the coded default paths on the Interface page. Make sure to account for the fact that the last directory listed is already generated. I had to do this for all but the Conf / Conf OLD paths.

as t'on des informations sur l'arrivé de OCS Windows serveur 2.3 ?

dans les actualités il y'a pourtant bien écrit :

OCS Inventory NG 2.3 Stable

L’équipe OCS Inventory est heureuse de vous annoncer la sortie des agents, outils et serveur en version 2.3 Stable

Or, lorsqu'on se rend dans telechargement, la version WINDOWS server OCS proposé n'est PAS la 2.3. Donc forcément lorsque mes agent en 2.3 essaye de contacter un serveur en Ver. 2.1.2 j'ai des problemes... :(

Hello, I have the ocs server in version 2.1.2 installed on a centos 6.8. I have PHP 5.3.3 MySQL 5.1.73. 

I downloaded the installer from the official website and run the installer without any problems or errors and restart apache. 

I have no errors in the installation. But when trying to see the interface nothing comes out, everything is blank. 

Someone has the procedure of update described step by step, to see that it may be failing...

Another question, the server has OCS 2.1.2, I have clients with agent version 4.0.5.0, 4.0.6.1, 2.0.0.20 and 2.1.1.1, I installed agent 2.3 on a client, install perfect, send inventory, but The client never appears in the admin console, are not supported?

Hi Frank,

Yes, my server name is specified in the ocsinventory.ini file, I created the agent installer with ocspackager with all the information, just like I did with previous versions
