Hi,
most plugins are compatible with the latest versions of the OCS server (a check section at the beginning of their vbs file specifies it) - prefer to download the plugin on Github, more up to date !

OCS Inventory NG
Bonjour,
Je suis actuellement avec un OCS sous windows en 2.1.1.1 qui communique correctement avec ses agents. Et un GLPI sous Linux en 9.1.2 avec le plugin OCSNG. Je n'arrive par contre pas à configurer mon serveur OCSNG pour faire communiquer OCS et GLPI.
Mon plugin OCS Inventory NG est bien activé sur mon Glpi. Et que quand je suis dans Configuration > Générale il me dit :
OCS Inventory NG
Host: http://mon adresse.
Connection: KO
Use the OCSNG software dictionary: No

OCS-server 2.4 - WOL bug
OCS NG 2.4 (on Debian 8.7)
After updating the OCS-server from 2.3.1 to 2.4, the WakeOnLan function has stopped working.
When I press the WOL button, the station "wakes up" but the ping only returns "Destination host unreachable".
When I wake up the same station using another program from WindowsServer - ping returns correctly and the station works ok.
On the old OCS-server 2.3.1 server, the WOL function worked perfectly.
After updating the OCS-server from 2.3.1 to 2.4, the WakeOnLan function has stopped working.

Bonjour,
effectivement, puisque vous avez KO dans cette zone les paramètres de connexion entre GLPI et le serveur OCS sont à modifier, pour cela :
- Dans GLPI, menu OUTILS > OCS INVENTORY NG - vous devez retrouver ici le(s) serveur(s) OCS déjà configuré(s) avec GLPI
- Cliquer sur l'icône en forme de clé et tournevis (configuration)
- Vérifier les paramètres de connexion dans le 1er onglet "Serveur OCSNG" (si modif, ne pas oublier de cliquer sur "Sauvegarder" en bas de la fenêtre)Attention : L'utilisateur / mot de passe sont ceux de la base de données (et non de l'utilisateur du serveur OCS Inventory [par ex. du compte sadmin])
- Valider les nouveaux paramètres en allant sur le 2ème onglet "Test"

Answered: Some Software is counted twice
All informations are get from windows registry. If there is write Acrobat 9.1 and Acrobat 9.2 are installed on the computer, then OCS report the software twice. The problem come from bad software installer that don't remove correctly their entry when you uninstall them or simple add new entry for an update.
Some specialized software scan the computer and the registry to clean those old entry : That's the best solution actually.

C'est justement à ce niveau que je bloque. J'ai beau avoir tout essayé j'ai toujours en message "Échec de connexion à la base de données" une fois sur l'onglet "Test".
En Hôte je rentre http://l'adresse ip de mon serveur ocs
ma base est bien ocsweb et en user et mdp j'ai laissé ceux de base donc root pour le user et pas de mdp ?

Deleted Plugins is filling the disk space
My server is in a virtual machine of XenServer in CentOS 7. I was testing the installation of plugins, when I wanted to uninstall this runningProcess-1.0 plugin, the uninstallation process never finished. I checked the disk space and saw that it was full, originally root (/) had 10 GB of space. I increased the space to 20GB, and went back to the process of uninstalling the plugin, the process was again loaded but never finished. I went back to check the disk space and saw that in a matter of seconds the 20GB space is full.
I checked the ocsweb database and this is the one that occupied the 16GB of space. I checked the plugins table and it was the heaviest.
I wanted to delete the table plugins, doing a drop table plugins, but the disk space did not decrease.
now I can not start OCS inventory, your help please what can I do?

comme vous l'a conseillé @kapouik , avez-vous créé un nouvel utilisateur avec droits d'écriture sur la BdD + mot de passe ? (dans certains cas, un accès authentifié avec mot de passe vide ne fonctionne pas)
Dans un 1er temps pour vos tests, vous pouvez déjà attribuer un mot de passe à root et vous connecter depuis GLPI...
Le port 3306 est-il ouvert sur le serveur OCS ? Un pare-feu ?

Installation de plugin en 2.4
Bonjour,
Je n'arrive pas a installer de plugin, le plugin s'installe bien mais en même temps j'ai une erreur.
J'ai cette erreur dans /var/log/apache2/access.log :
"POST /ocsplugins HTTP/1.1" 404 503 "-""PHP-SOAP/7.0.25-0ubuntu0.16.04.1"
Je suppose qu'il n'a pas acces à /ocsplugins pour l'installer mais je ne trouve pas ou est défini l'alias.

Thanks for your this Version, but for me the new Webinterface is a step backwards, because i find the Interface from Version 2.1 much more easy to understand.
Is it possible to switch the Theme back to the old Design ?

side menu underneath
OCS Inventory Srever 2.4 (on debian jessie)
In the OCS server version 2.4, the side menu in the hardware properties is blocked when scrolling the page and worse is on the lower bottom.
The problem is when we want to use the website on a mobile phone - you can not click on any item from this menu.

Petite présentation, je suis technicien système et réseaux depuis 15 ans, actuelement en poste, J'ai monté un serveur OCSNG en v2.2 fonctionnant sous un ubuntu serveur 16.04 x64, le tout dans une VM tournant sur un ESX (Je vais bientot la refaire en v2.4 sous un serveur debian 8.9). Actuelement ma VM est en production depuis 15 jours, et a déjà commencée à inventorié le parc d'un de nos client, bref que du bonheur :-)
J'en viens à ma demande. Je suis à la recherche une documentation d'utilisation de la console, mes nombreuses recherches google ne m'ont pas permis de trouver quelque chose de complet. Savez vous ou je peux trouver cela ?
PS 1 : le wiki ne me convient pas car et sauf erreur de ma part, il me semble que c'est plutôt de la doc pour de la V1.X et qu'en plus il manque les captures d'écrans
PS 2 : Désolé si les fautes d'orthographe vous pique les yeux
