Bonjour a tous,

Histoire de changer des question pour signaler un dysfonctionnement : Je n'ai absolument aucun problème sur mes 3 serveurs OCS, (2 en 2.5, 1 en 2.6), tous fonctionne à merveille l'édition des paquets sur la 2.6 est un pur bonheur et évite un travail parfois fastidueux :-) BRAVO et Merci aux développeurs !

Juste 2 petites questions :

1/ quelle est la différence entre le choix activation manuelle et activation automatique lors de l'activation d'une package que l'on vient de créer (j'avoue ne pas avoir essayé le mode automatique).

2/ les executables psexec sont nécéssaire lors de la création du package via l'outils ocspackager. Après on n'en a plus besoin ? (car, j'ai un serveur chez un client dont l'anti virus Sophos m'as rappelé à l'ordre car j'avais laissé le fichier psexec dans le dossier de la gpo deployant l'agent).

Hy guys,

I'm here again! I have a centos 7 server with ocs inventory server 2.6RC, and I can't install plugins features. I already copied zip file to /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/download but interface web haven't show me anyone.

Please, somebody could help me? :)

I am planning to deploy OCS inventory NG (as part of CMDBuild.org) in a dedicated docker container. I would want to run the application server as a cluster of at least two nodes in order to facilitate our existing deployment channels.

Is OCS supported/tested to run in such a setup and can the database access be split to a read and write connection to make use of a DB master/slave setup as well?

Previously i have install ocs Inventory server in windows, but after some time i face problem with that, later we get to know that our server is hacked. Now i install OCS Inventory 2.5 in Ubuntu 16.04 and i complete installation of mysql and all. I want to protect my Server from outside attack can anyone please help me.

If you look the file ocsinventory-server.conf in your apache folder, you will see that the server can run with two databases in master/slave.

It's not possible by defaut to run more than one server at time but it may be possible to do it with haproxy and correct load balancer options (never tested).

hello dear friends, my question is about the office plugin, first, i installed my server ocs inventory in SO Ubuntu 18.04 and is working, and the install the aforementioned plugin is ok, but when the agent send the info to my server and check the key in page of my server ocs, only show me the last 5 characters of the licence key, the version of my server is 2.5 and my agent 2.1.1.1

Hello,

I am trying to change the password of a Windows 10 local user using OCS. I am running an OCS NG Unix server 2.6 and OCS NG Windows Agent 2.4.0.0

I am encrypting the password using Powershell and I am trying to change the password using Microsoft.PowerShell.LocalAccounts module with Set-LocalUser command.

I know that I can change the password using net user username password but with this option, I have to send the password in clear text and is not a valid solution for me.

I have opened a cmd as SYSTEM account and I can change the password successfully but if I run the same script using OCS deploy it says

"The term 'Set-LocalUser' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again."

I have even tried to install/import the module using OCS deploy. The error that I get is:

'C:\Windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\Modules\Microsoft.PowerShell.LocalAccounts' was not loaded because no valid module file was found in any module directory.

Thank you very much sokatra for pointing me in the right direction and showing me that OCS runs under 32bit

To change a local windows user password i have first encrypted the password into a file

ConvertFrom-SecureString -SecureString ( Read-Host -AsSecureString) -Key (1..16) | Set-Content Passwd.txt

I have to run the 64bit PowerShell

and I have changed with the following command:

c:\windows\sysnative\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe "Set-LocalUser -Name 'username' -Password $(Get-Content 'Passwd.txt' | ConvertTo-SecureString -Key (1..16))"

Ma question semble avoir déjà été posée mais, comme je n'ai pas su trouver la réponse sur le forum OCS, je pose moi aussi encore la question :

Je voudrais savoir comment faire pour afficher les informations stockage et disques dans un rapport Excel, réunissant plusieurs serveurs.

En fait, je cherche à obtenir une (ou plusieurs) colonne(s) renseignant, pour chacun des serveurs d'une liste de serveurs, les espaces disque physique ("stockage") et les partitions ("disque(s)") que l'on trouve lorsqu'on interroge un serveur spécifique.

Existe-t-il une solution pour résoudre ce problème ?

Si oui, quelle sont les versions qui permettent d'obtenir un tel rapport ?

S'il n'existe aucune solution à ce jour, merci également de me le confirmer.

hello,

My question seems to have been already asked but, as I have been unable to find the response on the OCS forum, I ask again the question :

I would like to know how to do for displaying disk and storage information into an Excel report, with several servers.

I'm searching for getting one (or more) columns which can give, for each server belonging to a list of servers, the physical disk space and logical partitions that we usually find when we query a specific server.

Is there a solution to solve this issue ?

If yes, please, what are the versions available which could provide such a report ?

If no solution exists today, thanks also to confirm it.

OCS server 2.0
OCS Windows agent 2.0.5
OCS Unix agent 2.0.5 - 2.1.1 - 2.4.1

hy, 2 options

1. just use glpi (which can automatcally import ocs-inventory computers)

GLPI is able to search or nearly anything - which ocs-inventory can't do

2. search for "Disk(s): Free space" larger than 0 MB - and computername exactly "xy" or exactly xyz and so forth in ocs-inventory

Make a group from the result - now you can get a csv with the table "empty" space

You must customize your search to your needs - but in principle ocs-inventory is able to create more detailed result tables if you have a search value (in this case - free space)

Hello Sokatra,

It's nice of you answering me.

But unfortunately we don't have installed GLPI on our infrastructure. And I don't really understand your second option.

I just want to get an inventory of my computer park with a column which displays the total space disk available for each server, as I can with "RAM (MB)" option, "CPU type" option, "CPU number" option, "Model" option, "Operating system" option and so forth.

With such a report displayed on my screen, I will be able to export data and download it to an Excel sheet.
