hy plaz, as i explained in option 2 - you must search for free disk space - the you get a list where the column "free disk space" can be shown in the result via "add column" after search - which wasn't possible if you don't search for it! The trick is to search for a Information and get a result which can be exported as csv.

Sadly this trick doen't work with the option search for "Storage - disk size".

You can search for it - and you get a result - but you can't add the column in the result view!

The normal computer overview can't show you the same information.

But sadly you can't search for anything in ocs 2.1.2 - this is only possible via GLPI or OCS-Inventory 2.6

i hope i clarified it a little bit.

Option 3 is to serach via mysql - but this is more complex.

the only way i know is to use GLPI - there you can lock at the computer history

Hello Sokatra,

I think I have now understood : I must search for free disk space (for example disk C:) - then I get a list where the column "Disk: Capacity" can be shown in the result via "Add column" after search - which wasn't possible if you don't search for it!

I must do this disk search for each disk (C:, D:, E:...) and add the disk capacities to get the total disk capacity of each computer.

While waiting for the new OCS version 2.6, I will use your option 2.

The option 3 is much more interesting but I don't know how to manage it. By chance and please, do you have a solution to provide me ?

Hello,

We are not seeing all the default search parameters in "Search with various Criteria". Deployment package was the one we really needed.
PHP Version: 7.3.1

Web Server: Apache/2.4.6 (CentOS) OpenSSL/1.0.2k-fips PHP/7.3.1
Database Server: mod_perl/2.0.10 Perl/v5.16.3

Version OCSReports: MariaDB Server version 5.5.60-MariaDB
2.5

Any ideas on how to enable would be greatly appreciated.

do you know how to use mysql ? do you have access to the ocs inventory database ?

The you can execute the following command to see all Computer with less than 2000MB space on drive c

Select NAME, LETTER, Free from drives JOIN  hardware ON hardware.id = drives.hardware_id where drives.free <2000 and drives.letter like 'C:'

This is just an example -but i don't have time to figure out the exact query regarding your question.You can also get all hdd drives and so forth - but i recommend to install GLPI or update OCS-Inventory to Version 2.6

hy, has ocs-inventory a strong feature to prevent rogue clients from registering ? I only know that there is perhaps the possibilty to use the same password on any client.

Hi everyone!

I install my OCS inventory on Debian 9 and it's works!

My windows aget send data and with my webinterfaces i can see the information.

But now a nned to install some plugins... But i don't find the right path...

In /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports there isn't download folder.

Also /var/lib/ocsinventory-reports/plugins/download doesn't exist... 

I have only one folder in /var/lib/ocsinventory-reports/download but if i put the zip inside it will be not work!

I also try to create a new Download folder in /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports and put inside the zip but dowsn'r work...

What can I do please?

heu j'suis trop c.., j'avais déjà la réponse dans ma très (trop) longue doc.

Il suffit de se pacer sur toutes les machines et cliquer sur " télécharger tout".

j'ai commenté la ligne 194 :  $queryDetails .= " AND n.STATUS = 'up'";

I modified the file. But I still having the same issue.

Just I can see only Linux machines contacted today, but not Windows machines.

I have recently installed the OCS Server 2.6 in Debian 10 with mariadbserver included in the same server.

The performance is terrible.  More or less take 50 secons to load each page (all computers, configurations, etc) with more or less 250 servers registered.  The hardware of VM is enough to manage this quantity of servers (I have assigned more than in the previous VM, defining 8 cores, 8 gb ram, and 50 GB SSD disk)

I haven't found any error and i don't know how to continue.

Bonjour, 

Nous avons actuellement un serveur OCS en version 2.1.2 (serveur windows)
Là dessus on déploie du client OCS sur les PC en version 2.1.1.1 (90% poste windows 10 et 10% windows 8 et windows 7)

Vous venons de mettre en place un nouveau serveur OCS en version 2.6(serveur linux)
Mais par contre précision importante il n'est pas prévu que ce nouveau serveur ait le même nom. 

Es ce que la solution la plus cohérente / propre est de prévoir la MAJ des clients OCS version 2.4.0.0 sur l'ensemble des PC (prenant en compte le nouveau serveur OCS) + synchro par la suite sur nouveau serveur OCS ? 

Autre précision : on a aussi un serveur GLPI avec un crontab qui tourne tous les soirs permettant de synchroniser la base de données des PC présent du serveur OCS vers le serveur GLPI

Bonjour,

Le mieux est donc de mettre à jour les agents en 2.6 (oui c'est mieux d'installer la dernière version stable :) ) et de changer le nom à ce moment là pour joindre ton nouveau serveur OCS.

Pour GLPI, change juste tes appels dans tes cron et ça marchera normalement.

We are running Ubuntu 16.04. I went to use this for the first time in a while and found the page just displayed a white screen when going to https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/ocsreports.

I have since upgraded from 2.2.1 to 2.6 using the instructions here: https://wiki.ocsinventory-ng.org/02.Basic-documentation/Updating-the-server/

This has not helped. Is there anything I can check for common errors?

I suspect there is an issue accessing the database but I'm not sure.
