TEmviewer plugin does not work

HEllo,

I tried to use the teamviewer plugin. So, I downloaded the zip, unzipped it and installed it via the OCS gui. This all went fine without any error. I also added the agent plugin to the agent. An created xml via /local parameter shows that the teamviewer information is transferred. But I can't see anything at the gui.

Did I miss something? What about the Map.pm and the teamviewer.conf from the APCAHE folder? Are they copied automatically at the installation?

Ok...Map.pm and Teamviewer.conf are not installed automaticlly, they have to be copied by hand.

Did this also, but still no data visible at the management gui.

Hello, 

I want to configure the SNMP but when create my certificat I see errors in my file

I have errors in my file : /var/log/apache2/error.log 

ocsinventory-server: Can't load SOAP::Transport::HTTP* - Web service will 
be unavailable

servername:443:0 server certificate does NOT include an 
ID which matches the server name

 Whith ocsinventory-agent --force --logfile=/tmp/agent.log

[error] Cannot establish communication : 301 Moved Permanently

Ok, the data is NOT written into the database. The table "teamviewer" has no data.

Any hints?

ocsreports does not show me information about the hardware, with the debugging included, I noticed that the path to the configuration files is double / usr / share / ocsinventory-reports / ocsreports // usr / share / ocsinventory-reports / ocsreports / plugins / main_sections / conf /
where to look for a problem?

hi,

Version of server ? If it was v2.6,  have you take special rework plugins ? if yes, plugings correcty installed on server, with the new méthod ? any errors in agent  and apache log's ?

Ok, deleted the teamviewer extension via the ocsadmin-gui.

Deleted all files on /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/extensions, copied the extension again to that directory and tried to install it.

Then, I get an error in the apache error log:

Problem with certificate configuration

Good morning, I installed OCS Inventory on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 7.6. I have created the apache.crt and apache.key files from a company .pfx certificate and copied them to / etc / httpd / ssl. I have also created the cacert.pem file from apache.crt. I have modified the files:

httpd.conf:

Listen IP.OF.SER.VER: 443

ServerAdmin *Emails are not allowed*ISHED

ServerName NAME.OFSERVER.PUBLISHED: 443

ocsinventory-reports.conf:

uncommenting the SSLRequireSSL line

ssl.conf:

Listen 4443 https

<VirtualHost IP.OF.SER.VER: 443>

ServerName NAME.OFSERVER.PUBLISHED: 443

SSLEngine on

SSLCertificateFile /etc/httpd/ssl/apache.crt

SSLCertificateKeyFile /etc/httpd/ssl/apache.key

If I configure the ocsinventory.ini on clients:

Server = https: //NAME.OFSERVER.PUBLISHED/ocsinventory

SSL = 1

CaBundle = cacert.pem

The inventory is collected correctly.

The problem is that if I configure the ocsinventory.ini:

Server = https: //NAME.OFSERVER.PUBLISHED/ocsinventory

SSL = 0

CaBundle =

It also collects the equipment data. Where am I failing in the configuration?

upgrading server all agents give a #500 error

I have upgraded a server from 2.5 to 2.6, all agents now give a #500 error I updated a couple of windows agents from 2.4 (which give the #500 error) to 2.6.0.0 and they still give the error.

activity log on the server show the connection e.g.

ed Jul 10 11:56:20 2019;6509;322;LN-xxxxxxx-2019-07-10-11-56-13;xxx.xxx.xx.xx;OCS-NG_WINDOWS_AGENT_v2.3.1.1;notify;no_device

quand on vérifie les information hardware, on ne peut pas ajouter une colonne pour les disques durs...

comment savoir dans une liste d'inventaire la taille des disques et leur type HDD ou SSD ?

Hi:
I have OCS Inventory installed with in a test environment with the following values:

Operating system:

  • OS Name: Linux x86_64
  • Version: 4.15.0-54-generic
  • RAM installed: 928 MB
  • Free RAM: 618 MB
  • CPU: Intel (R) Core (TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz
  • Distribution: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS

OCS Server:

  • PHP Version: 7.2.19
  • Web Server: Apache / 2.4.29 (Ubuntu)
  • Database Server: mariadb.org binary distribution version 10.3.16-MariaDB-1: 10.3.16 maria ~ bionic-log
  • OCSReports version: 2.6


I'm trying to configure CVE.
The configuration parameters are:

I have the crontab with 2 tasks configured:

  • 05 00 * * * root wget --spider http: //localhost/ocsreports/crontab/cron_cve.php
  • 00 02 * * * root /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/crontab/.scripts/cron_cve.script

I think that with either task would be enough.


The script /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/crontab/.scripts/cron_cve.script:

#!/bin/sh
cd /usr/share/ocsinventory-reports/ocsreports/crontab/php ./cron_cve.php

I think everything is correct, but when I access "Inventory -> CVE Reporting -> All CVE", the table is empty. (No data available in table)

Can someone tell me what can be wrong?

it was actually zz-ocs-inventory-rest api.conf that needed the DB credentials
